Unless aliens are actually our past or future selves caught in the present time, then I spent a good portion of my life believing that I was one. Or at least, whenever my mother asked "Where did you come from?," my reply was always "Mars." Sometimes the truth is hard. Currently, I wait tables at a local cafe. Being a waitress is a sheer test of will, but working with the general public has taught me that no matter how insane my life gets, someone's is always far worse. The general public also confirms the fact that I am from another planet. And so are all of my friends (at least I am not alone). I plan on going back to school full time soon. I attended VCU for 3 semesters about two years ago. Next semester I plan on taking a photography class. I am only 21 (the youngest here at Red Zero until that Andy kid moved in), so I feel I have plenty of time to figure out the next sixty or so years of my life. I'm in no rush. I am interested in the general area of film...more specifically the cinematography--editing area. Perhaps it's safer to say I am interested in the arts in general. Much of my life growing up was spent training in dance, music, theatre, and art. I hit a creative brick wall recently, but soon I will find a way to tie them all together. Which is why film is so appealing to me. |

Patrick and I traveled across country in September. Because of that, my first cross country experience, I learned I want to travel. Maybe constantly, but definitely a lot. We, Patrick and I that is, live together in a really great room that is very blue. Being the only couple at Red Zero is a bit strange. It is, nonetheless, an experience. --I would like to take a second here to give mention to my friend, Amy, who lives around the corner. She is the only other girl I know who lives in a house with 5 or more of her boyfriend's friends sans another female. Way to go Amy!!--
